Hello to our student leaders and Faculty Liaisons for our Clubs and Organizations at Park University!!

As you may know the Career Development Center hosts several events each year to assist in the professional development of our students. One of these events is our Etiquette and Networking Dinner.

This year we will be hosting this event on Tuesday, October 7 from 6-8 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel at Tiffany Springs off I-29.

· The proper protocol for making formal introductions

· The proper use of business cards

· How to make small talk and feel comfortable talking to total strangers

Then we will have a formal dinner where you will learn:

· Proper dining etiquette in a formal setting – What all those forks are used for?

· Which bread or drink plate is yours?

· When and where should you put your napkin?

· What should you do with your dinner plate or how do you let the server know you are done eating?

· Is it OK to eat your dessert before the main course?
