Enrollment Counselor Park University

The Park Student Success Center (PSSC) at Park University has a position available at our Parkville campus for an Enrollment Counselor.

This position will proactively contact new inquiries and newly applied students to assist them through initial registration and enrollment, and orient them to the University. This position will also provide ongoing support and advising to current students.

Qualifications:

1. Very strong customer-service skills and must enjoy working with people 100% of the time.

2. Bachelor’s degree required; preference given to candidates with student enrollment and advising experience.

3. Excellent command of oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

4. Strong team building skills, ability to work well with a wide variety of colleagues and diverse groups of students.

5. Highly flexible, creative, and able to adjust quickly to new project demands, workgroups, and hardware and software environments

6. Strong Problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail

7. Solid working knowledge and experience with a wide range of computer technology such as Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), databases, and online technology.

8. Ability to work in a virtual environment, spending 90% of the work day responding to email or phone calls.

9. Willingness to work flexible and extended hours when needed.
